Music has been a rewarding part of my life, and because of that I find much joy in being able to share it with others through my performing and teaching. My musical training first began on the piano when I was 9 years old in Sioux Falls, SD. At the age of 13, I began taking harp lessons from Frances Miller. I completed a BA in Church Music and Christian Ed from Northwestern College in Roseville, MN, and a BS in Instrumental Music Education from the University of MN, Minneapolis. I have been teaching and performing as a concert harpist for more than 40 years.
In addition to performing individually, I am a member of Chelesta, a harp/flute duo; Harpourri, a harp quartet; and perform with my husband for various church programs. As an active member of the American Harp Society, I have had numerous local and regional leadership roles. I teach lessons at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls and private harp lessons from my home in Lino Lakes, MN (Minneapolis/St. Paul area) where I reside with my husband, Paul. We have been blessed with 2 wonderful children.
